Curricular Practical Training
Definition
Curricular Practical Training (CPT) is an employment option available to international students in some countries, allowing them to gain practical work experience in their field of study as part of their academic curriculum. Unlike optional practical training programs, CPT is generally an integral part of a degree program and often earns the student academic credit, requiring authorization from both the educational institution and relevant immigration authorities
