Definition
Caudal Regression Syndrome (CRS) is a rare congenital disorder that results from abnormal development of the lower spine and structures. It affects the development of the caudal (tail) region of the embryo, leading to a spectrum of anomalies involving the lower spinal cord, pelvis, and lower limbs.
