## Definition

Recurrent arrhythmias refer to persistent or frequently recurring abnormal heart rhythms that disrupt the normal heart rate and rhythm, leading to symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or syncope (fainting). These arrhythmias are severe enough to necessitate medical intervention, including medication, electrical cardioversion, or implantation of a cardiac device, to manage or control the abnormal heart rhythms.
