This visa category (in the U.S., TN-2 Visa) applies to skilled professionals in treaty-signatory countries. In the United States, this non-immigrant visa allows the individual to work in the U.S. under the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which was replaced by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The initial period of stay is up to three years, but extensions can be granted in three-year increments
