International Development Cooperation Agency
Definition
The International Development Cooperation Agency (IDCA) was established by Executive Order in September, 1979. The IDCA was abolished by act of Oct. 2, 1998 (112 Stat. 2681-790) and its functions transferred to the Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, and overseas Private Investment Corporation.
