Definition
This visa (in the U.S., the R-2 visa) is designed for dependents of temporary religious workers (in the U.S., R-1 visa holders), including spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21. In the United States, the R-2 visa allows these dependents to accompany the principal R-1 visa holder for the duration of their authorized stay. While R-2 visa holders are not authorized to work in the U.S., they may attend school
